Privacy Policy

The short version
SwipeDay is built to be private. Your photos and videos never leave your device. SwipeDay has no user accounts, no login, and no server that stores your content. Everything the app does to your photo library happens locally on your phone.
Your photos and videos
SwipeDay needs access to your photo library to do its job: showing you recent photos and videos so you can review them, and deleting the ones you choose to delete. This all happens on your device. SwipeDay does not upload, copy, transmit, or back up your photos or videos anywhere. We never see them, and neither does anyone else.
When you delete a photo in SwipeDay, it uses your phone's own system to move it to your device's "Recently Deleted" album, exactly as if you deleted it in the Photos app. SwipeDay cannot recover deleted photos.
Information we don't collect
SwipeDay does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or any personal profile. There is no account to create. We do not track your activity across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share personal information, because we don't have it.
Subscriptions
If you start a free trial or subscribe, that purchase is handled by Apple's App Store and by RevenueCat, a service we use to manage subscriptions. This process involves basic, non-photo information such as your subscription status and an anonymous identifier, so the app knows whether your subscription is active. It does not include your photos, videos, or personal identity. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's privacy policy; RevenueCat's is governed by theirs.
Notifications
SwipeDay can send you a reminder to review your photos at a time you choose. These reminders are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to us or anyone else.
Children
SwipeDay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how SwipeDay handles data, we'll update this page. Because the app is private by design, we don't expect major changes.
